Whether you are a horse lover or just curious, you are in the right place!
Horse Holidays France is located in an old racing stable, within what used to be the 300 sqm park of the castle in Maisons Laffitte, the “City of Horses” located in the Yvelines, where many riding paths await for you.
In the park of Maisons Laffitte, you will meet many young race horses walking to their training centers as well as other riders who practice for sport and leisure. In this unique city, there are over 1600 horses and around 50 horse stables.
The park borders the large forest of St Germain, with 80kms of trail riding paths.
The stables Horse Holidays France are located near the racing track and there are arenas conveniently close. There are 4 different arenas: one for dressage (60 x 20m), a jumping arena, a training paddock, and a flat work arena, as well as a round pen to lunge and a horse country course.
We will wait for you in the club house where we will talk over a drink and some biscuits to learn about you and your wishes in order to pair you with a horse that will suit you the best.
You don’t have the equipment? No problem! We will provide helmets and mini-chaps to protect your calves.
Wear comfortable pants or jeans, boots or shoes with small heels. Depending on the weather, t-shirt, rain jacket, warm jacket.
We will share our passion and our beautiful surroundings, and will answer all your questions.
During trail rides, spanning from a full day to several days, we will show you the beautiful scenery of our region where we will share a gourmet lunch on a nicely laid table.
Join us on our full day trail ride in the beautiful St Germain forest ! Have lunch on the terrace of St Germain en Laye Castle.

Stables for all level riders
Horse Holidays France, stables in the Yvelines offers countless services, such as trail rides, horseback riding week-ends, private lessons for beginners to advanced and confirmed level.
We believe that our horses’ well being is our top priority. Every horse has their own stall, their own tack stored in our tack room. We manage their diet and their daily exercise according to their needs and grant them a day off weekly.
Our covered arena will be used for beginner lessons and before going on a trail ride in the park.
The more experienced riders will be taught in the large arenas near the racing track ! Easily accessible through a direct riding path.
- Discovery walk suits riders with little experience and for those who had never been on a horse before.
- Evolution trek works for intermediate riders.
- Xplore trek will satisfy the experienced riders.
